The procedure below is very simple, but first we need to install the Windows Automated Installation Kit to get some files.
A. necessary condition to Install Windows 7 in USB & External Hardisk:
• An external hard drive or USB Flashdish 5Gb minimum capacity that is formatted with NTFS partitions.
• Installing the Windows 7 file. (If you have windows 7 ISO file, mount is by using virtual cd program or the like).
• Windows 7 Automated Installation Kit (Download free from microsoft)
Note: Make sure the content of external hard drive space remaining around 15GB or so before starting this procedure, although it is not advisable to delete the entire contents of your external hard drive, make sure that the file has been backed up your important files in it first.
Steps to Install Windows 7 on a USB stick and external hard disk:
1. Create two folders with the names and WAIK Windows Files on the desktop or elsewhere on the laptop that has at least 5GB of free space.
2. Download the ZIP file here, then extract all the contents into WAIK Files folder, then we need three files: bcdboot.exe, Bootsect.exe and Imagex.exe. The third file was found only after we install indows Automated Installation Kit for Windows 7 on our Windows Computer. 3. Copy all the contents of Windows 7 Installation DVD Kit us into the Windows Files folder.
4. The next step, locate and run the file that resides in Installer.cmd WAIK Files folder, run as Administrator privileges (right-click the file and select "Run as Administrator"). In the first display screen, you will be asked to press the "Enter" to continue. Press the Enter button and locate the installation file install.wim which resides in the Windows Files folder, file folder can be found at:

5. Now we select the edition of Windows 7 that we want, for example, we will install windows 7 ultimate on external USB flash or hard drive by typing the appropriate numbers behind it. Example: type the number "5" (without the quotes) to select the ultimate edition.
