Shahrukh Khan Arrested in New York Airport (service info)

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan was detained at the Airport White Plains, New York for two hours on Thursday (12/4), shortly after he arrived to visit Yale University, where he will be rewarded as a Chubb Fellow.

SRK detained by local immigration officials for secondary security screening by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents. He was allowed to go after those who invited him intervene and resolve the case by the government of the United States in Washington, as quoted by Yahoo! Maktoob News.


In August 2009, SRK has also been detained at Newark Airport and later released after the intervention of the Indian Consulate in New York.
"I'm very troubled by the American airport because my last name is Khan. It is not unreasonable. I feel very angry and felt humiliated," said Shah Rukh Khan, who was then going to Chicago to attend the celebration of Independence Day of India.

"The name of Khan's Muslim name and I think it is a common name on their list," he continued.
