Liputan6.com, Simeulue: Aftershocks are still happening in Aceh Province, following a strong earthquake of 8.5 on the Richter scale shook parts of Aceh and Sumatra island on Wednesday last. Based on the information the official page of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), a magnitude 6.4 earthquake rocked Aceh SR again. However, no potential tsunami earthquake times.
BMKG said this earthquake occurred on Sunday (15/4) at 12:57 pm. Earthquake locations in the 2.49-90 north latitude, 33 east longitude with a depth of 121 kilometers. The epicenter or epicenter is 641 km northwest of Simeulue District, 647 km southwest of the Aceh Jaya district, 652 km southwest of Banda Aceh, 643 km southwest of Banda Aceh, and 2066 km northwest of Jakarta.
